Their passion for surfing and dedication to providing an exceptional experience was evident from the get-go. The school exuded a laid-back vibe, creating a welcoming atmosphere for everyone. The highlight, undoubtedly, was the surf instruction. Patient, knowledgeable, and passionate about surfing, the instructors tailor their lessons to suit each individual’s skill level. As someone relatively new to surfing, I appreciated their dedication to ensuring everyone felt confident and safe in the water. The combination of excellent instructors, stunning location, and commitment to sustainability make it a standout destination. I can’t wait to return for another incredible surf adventure!

At Dakar Surf Atlantique anyone can feel at home! You can rent surfing equipment and if you have never tried it, you can take great lessons with Aly who will pass on all his passion for this beautiful sport. Thanks also to the fantastic location and the very kind people who work there (including the legendary Bachir), I spent some pleasant days chatting, laughing and relaxing.

I can’t recommend this place highly enough – very cool place: a must-visit when in Dakar!

Every great surf session that has ever been had has the same thing in common: good vibes in the water. Aly radiates warmth and kindness and will give you the confidence and skills you need to get to the next level. He is also simply fantastic with kids, so don’t hesitate to bring your little ones.

The surf lessons are highly recommended, both for me as a beginner and for an advanced surfer. As well as having a lot of experience, Aly is a very good teacher, he adapts and understands how you get on in the sea and explains very well how you can improve. I went to Dakar Surf Atlantique with my boyfriend who already has a certain level and he appreciated the advice Aly gave him. On top of that, the atmosphere and the people at the school are really cool 😉

Very friendly surf instructors! I immediately felt at ease during my first surf lesson. Even if you don’t speak French, communication works very well in English. I’m about to take my second surf lesson with Aly and I can’t wait 🙂 I can really recommend this surf school to everyone!
